Marilyn H. Tinnin is a life–long Mississippian. Her mother, Marie Hemphill, was an award winning journalist and the author of Fevers, Floods, and Faith, a comprehensive history of Sunflower County, Mississippi. Marilyn graduated from Indianola Public Schools, attended the University of Mississippi, and received both a Bachelor´s and Master´s Degree in Piano Performance from Mississippi College. She has done freelance writing for speakers, Bible teachers, and Mississippi Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She has been published in numerous publications including Guideposts, and is an award winning member of Southern Christian Writers. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Jackson, serves as a board member of Goodwill Industries, Mission Mississippi, and Fish Tale Group. She is the founder and former editor and publisher of Jackson Christian Family. She was selected by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of Mississippi´s leading business women for 2006. She has been selected Distinguished Alumnus for 2007 by the Mississippi College Department of Music. Marilyn is a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. She is the mother of Lem O. Smith IV of Denver, Colorado, Betsy Smith of Birmingham, Alabama, and the proud grandmother of Mary McAllister Smith and Charlottee Hemingway Smith.  She is happily married to Charles Tinnin.

Kari was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She attended the University of Mississippi and recently graduated with a Bachelor´s degree in Marketing Communications. While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She has been an active volunteer with the Leukemia, Lymphoma Society participating as a member of their Team in Training program and as a mentor for the 2007 Nashville and San Diego Marathon and Half Marathon. Kari now lives in Jackson and attends Christ United Methodist Church.

Christi Brown Steckel grew up in Oklahoma.  She attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.  She and her husband, Christian Steckel, were married over a year ago.  They moved from Santa Monica, California to Mississippi for Christian to take the job as the local Sports Anchor for ABC WAPT-16.  They have their home near the reservoir and have enjoyed all the southern hospitality Mississippi has to offer. They attend Pinelake Church.
